Everyone who likes street art and visits Paris makes the pilgrimage to rue Desnoyers in Belleville. It was where I first experienced street art years ago.Sadly on my last visit ( 10/2016) I discovered one whole side is to be demolished and rebuilt. This has happened to so many of the good sites in Paris over the last few years.The mayor has said that walls will be provided for street artists in the new housing development so it may not be so bad.
However on the bright side I discovered rue de la Fontaine au Roi nearby which had a stunning wall of art
