Street Art Paris: Konny Stedig :10/16

 Konny Steding is a German artist, originally from Berlin, now living in Paris. She started putting up her work in the Paris metro but took it to the streets after a final warning from the police. It's hard to find out much more detail than that about her.

She was very prolific around Beaubourg when I was in Paris in October, which is when I took these photos. She usually does only paste-ups but this fall I found she was also painting on the footpath. and as well as the bored female model faces that predominate her work, she had also started doing male punks and what looks like a homeless person. The white sections of her work attract taggers.
